BRUNO

What did you like best about the MUNprep course?

  • That we spoke a lot, and had many unprepared speeches because I think that this is a very important skill to have, not only for MUN.

What did you learn?

  • To speak unprepred and to not feel uncomfortable when speaking in front of others.

What would you like to tell a future MUNprep Delegate?

  • Go to KAMUN, it was a great to get a first impression of MUN at a small conference!

Which big conference did you go to?

  • I went to Harvard World MUN in Montreal.

How was your conference experience?

  • We had so many interesting debates with people from all over the world. Also, it was a lot of fun, there were great social events and we met so many people.

What did you like best about the MUNprep course?

  • Get out of your comfort zone, do things that you are scared of, such as public speaking, and push to your limits in an environment that you are comfortable in. We all became a family by the end, so it was a nice little release on tuesdays to talk a lot and then go out for a drink, which was a good combination.

What did you learn?

  • How to be more diplomatic and talk to people that I do not know.

What would you like to tell a future MUNprep Delegate?

  • I highly recommend MUNprep to anyone interested in international politics! It makes you research international global issues from different standpoints. For example if you are China, you will have to argue from standpoints much different than the western points of views which is very interesting. Also it is great for meeting people.

What conference will you go to?

  • I will go to PIMUN in Paris.

What do you expect from your conference?

  • I am really excited! I expect to meet a lot of people from different backgrounds. It is going to be a huge conference so it is going to be a little intimidating but I am expecting to learn a lot about not being shy.

  • We got the opportunity to really speak english with the group. Not only did we learn to talk in English, but also how to put it in a speech and how to summarize our thoughts.

What did you learn?

  • To use english more actively. I think I practiced it more than in school.

What would you like to tell a future MUNprep Delegate?

  • It is a good thing that you should participate in. It helps you with your english, talking skills while also satisfying your political interest.

What conference did you go to?

  • I went to Harvard WorldMUN in Montreal.

How was your conference experience?

  • To put it in the words of the new US president: “It was great. It was terrific!”

What did you like best about the MUNprep course?

  • We met on a weekly basis so it was also a social event. I got to know different people that I otherwise would have never gotten to know. Also, it opened a door for me and gave me an insight into something I may have never done, that being politics, although I am sort of a politics student I have not really gotten into that before, so that was quite cool.

What did you learn?

  • I learned what it means to be in the UN I suppose, well not completely, but in that direction. And that the parties are really good!

What would you like to tell a future MUNprep Delegate?

  • Definitely do it, it has been a highlight of my week. You get to learn so many different things and you get to know so many different people, so do it!

What conference will you go to?

  • I will be going to PIMUN in Paris.

What do you expect from your conference?

  • I will meet even more people, but this time more international, get more experiences and I will go to Paris! I have never been to Paris before, so that’s a big one.
